We are an open and affirming congregation made up of all ages and backgrounds. No matter your age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation or faith background, we invite you to come and grow in faith and service with us as followers of Jesus Christ. You will find a warm welcome at First Presbyterian Church.

Several times a year, we host a Newcomer Gathering for people who are considering making First Presbyterian Church their church home. Newcomer Gatherings are a comfortable space where people can meet with our pastors and church members in a relaxed setting to ask questions and to learn more about our congregation, our mission and ministries, and our denomination, the Presbyterian Church (USA).

We welcome as members all who trust in God’s grace in Jesus Christ and desire to become part of the life and ministry of our church. For those who feel ready to take the step of membership, we joyfully receive new members by affirmation or reaffirmation of their Christian faith, or by transfer of membership from another Christian church.
